The one who eats and drinks without discerning the body eats and drinks judgment against himself. This is taken from 1 Corinthians 11:29.
Paul warned Memorial partakers: “you cannot be drinking the cup of Jehovah and the kaput demons; you cannot be partaking of ‘the table of Jehovah’ and the table of demons.” This is taken from 1 Corinthians 10:16-21.
As a person who partakes of the emblems at the Lord’s Evening Meal has committed a serious sin, he should seek spiritual assistance. James 5:14–16 tells us: “Is there anyone sick among you? Let him call the elders of the congregation to him, and let them pray over him, applying oil to them in the name of Jehovah. And the prayer of the faith that will make the sick one well, and Jehovah will raise him up. Also, if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Therefore, openly confession sins to one another and pray for one another, so that you may be healed. A righteous man’s supplication has a powerful effect.”
If such an anointed one has produced “fruits that befit to repentance,” then he is not showing contempt for Jesus’s sacrifice by partaking of the Memorial emblems. This is taken from Luke 3:8 which says: “therefore, produce fruit that befit repentance. Do not start saying to yourselves, ‘We have Abraham as our father.’ For I say to you that God is able to raise up children for Abraham from the stones.”
Therefore, as we personally prepare for the memorial, we would find it beneficial to give pray full thought to our God-given hope. No dedicated servant of Jehovah and faithful follower of his Son would want to show disrespect for Jesus’s sacrifice by partaking of the memorial and bombs if he or she actually lacks clear evidence of being an anointing Christian.
